Not impressive

NEWS EDIT: Bar Amalfi is now under new management. They contacted Wherespresso just to let us know. They want the original review to remain up (rather than put a new one up), but have guaranteed that their coffee is now a 10/10. As you can see by the subsequent comment/s on the post, the coffee has improved markedly. I'll be visiting there soon, and will get photos, so stay tuned! Rule #1 of Wherespresso Fight Club. If you recommend a place, make sure it's up to scratch, Mr Gavin! Not impressive. Milk burnt (fatty), coffee itself was potentially good, but it wasn't prepared well to ascertain this. I stupidly didn't note the bean type. I saw another place, called Froth, which I will review next time in Sydney, unless someone can do it first. Funny as this sounds, I recommend heading up to Mr Espresso on Rocky Point Rd instead. But, at least they're all Web2.0 with a Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ramsgate-Australia/Bar-Amalfi/188676880101).

suprisingly good!

I was at this cafe over a year ago and was not very impressed...
i have come back now and found new owners with such great service and a fun atmosphere. i now have a place to call my own ha ha..
Apparently they roast there own coffee and there is nothing else like it... Guys this is as they say at bar amalfi "coffee to die for" without a doubt. it's very rare to have awesome coffee accompanied by great food and these guys have done it! well done.
